Kennel and Grooming Staff
Our kennel manager, Cameron Hinson, joined Matthews Animal Clinic in 2002. Cameron is from Indian Trail, N.C., he attended CPCC and received his associate's degree in 2009. He is proud to be associated with the excellent care provided to each individual patient.
Cameron has two dogs, Ruby and Echo, who are both lab mixes. In his spare time he enjoys the beach, mountains and any other aspect of being outdoors.
A Matthews native, groomer Jennifer Way has worked in the animal care field for seven years. Jennifer has a certificate from the Charlotte Academy of Dog Grooming and is a pet sitter in her spare time. Jennifer loves working with animals and enjoys the family-like atmosphere at the hospital.
Jennifer's hobbies include camping, checking out live music, reading and playing the clarinet. Jennifer and her husband, Tate, are proud new parents of Adelyn, born 1/12/11.
Jenny Montgomery has been working at Matthews Animal Clinic since July of 2010, but has been in the grooming industry for over 25 years. She has two standard poodles that she has competed with in the conformation and grooming rings. Her other hobbies include running and playing tennis.
